Our Story
From Family Kitchens
to the Streets of Tampa
Los Buenos Amigos started with a simple idea: the best recipes are the ones passed down through generations, and they deserve to be shared with anyone willing to stop and taste them.
Our founder grew up in a household where the kitchen was always full — of people, of aromas, of conversation. Empanadas were made on weekends, arepas on Sundays, and every meal was an occasion worth savoring. When the decision was made to bring that spirit to the road, the food truck became the natural vessel.
Today, every item on our menu is prepared from scratch each morning. We source locally whenever possible, press our own dough, and simmer our own salsas. The result is food that tastes like it was made by someone who actually cares — because it was.
